Can You Help Your Community?

In light of Government advice for social distancing and self isolation, FCC, with the help of residents are attempting to co ordinate a volunteer effort to make sure that anyone who needs help within the community knows where they can get it.

The first postcard has Bruce’s contact details on it.  Whilst we build up a bank of volunteers, Bruce has kindly agreed to be a first port of call.  We will try our best to match up anyone who needs help, with a volunteer.

The second card is blank.  This is for anyone who would be happy to act as a volunteer for their street / area.  Fill in your details.  Tick the boxes for anything you’re happy to assist with and then pop them through your neighbours letter boxes.  If you are happy to do this, would you please let us know. 

We are keen to get the cards to everyone, so if you know you have neighbours who don’t have email please would you consider printing off the cards with Bruces details and popping them through letter boxes.

If you are happy and able to help in a wider capacity, please let us know, along with a note of when you would be available.  We appreciate that no one is going to be available all day, every day, so the more volunteers we can get, the better.

If we can all pull together we will hopefully lessen the chances of people left isolated and alone.
